Analyze Survey Results

1. What are you trying to understand with your survey?
In our survey we are trying to see what people's views are on half days. We wanted to know if people liked them better when they were at 11 and what their parents think of them too.
2. Did the demographic questions you asked help you with understanding the results?
Yes the demographic questions helped.
3. What would you change, if you could, in your survey?
I would think of some more questions to ask.
4. Is there a difference in the boys results vs. the girls results? Explain.
No, everyone liked half days better at 11 and agreed that half days give you time to relax and do homework.
5. What question told you the most from your survey? Explain.
When we asked if half days should be changed back to 11, 58 people said yes and no one said no.
6. What summary can you give if at all about your results. If there are several please separate the results.
Most people spend their halfdays sleeping, getting ahead with homework, watching tv or playing sports.
Everyone liked when half days were at 11 and wants them to be changed back.
Most peoples parents like half days or have no opinion on them.
People find it easier to do homework or like having more time to relax on half days.
7. What is something you liked about this project?
I liked coming up with the survey and the questions that were in it. I also liked tallying the results because it was fun to see people's responses.

Chapter 3 Scavenger Hunt

The easiest task in this scavenger hunt was looking up the answers to the questions on google. Having a partner made the task easier because we could split up the work and it made the scavenger hunt quicker. I would not have rather worked alone on this because working with a partner made it easier. I think this is a fair assessment of chapter 3 material because it reviews everything we learned in chapter 3. If we had a test instead it would have covered all of the same material that was on the scavenger hunt.

Endorsement and Piracy

Michael Jordan is endorsed by Nike and has his own Jordan Brand which earned $2.7 billion in sales in 2013. David Ortiz has an endorsement contract with cellphone manufacturer Samsung. A-Rod has had endorsement deals with Nike, Rawlings, Wheaties, Pepsi, and the Got Milk campaign. Peyton Manning has had endorsement deals with Papa John's Pizza, DirectTV, Buick, and Nationwide. Mike Trout has been endorsed by Nike, Subway, and BodyArmor SuperDrink. Andrew Luck made an endorsement deal with audio technology company Klipsch. Jonathan Toews made an endorsement deal with the world's leading designer and manufacturer of hockey equipment, Bauer. Miguel Cabrera has endorsement deals with Chrysler and NewBalance.

Piracy is the unauthorized use of another's work. In 2014 the MPAA found that Sony companies were placing ads on rogue sites. This included Sony Online Entertainment, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sony Entertainment Network, Sony Corporation and Sony Mobile  Communications. In the first five months of the year, about two million Sony ads appeared on pirate sites. This was very embarrassing for Sony and they removed the ads immediately.
